SCHOOL HEALTHCARE: A JOURNEY TOWARD COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT

Health is the vital foundation for every child’s learning, play, and overall growth. With the desire to partner with parents in monitoring our students’ physical well-being, on the morning of January 6, 2026, Ba Thien Kindergarten organized the First Periodic Health Check-up for the 2025 – 2026 school year.

Following the annual educational plan, the school collaborated with a team of experienced doctors from the Ward 2 Medical Center (Bao Loc), alongside our dedicated school medical staff. The examinations were conducted in a professional and systematic manner, including:

–   Physical Assessment: Measuring height and weight to evaluate age-appropriate growth indices.

–   Specialized Screenings: Ear, Nose, Throat (ENT), and Dental health check-ups.

–   Internal Medicine: Heart and lung examinations and general health assessments.

Understanding that preschoolers may feel anxious in a medical setting, the doctors took extra time to chat, comfort, and encourage the children. With a gentle and professional approach, medical tools like stethoscopes and measuring tapes became friendly objects, helping the children feel secure and confident throughout the process.

Thanks to this attentive care, the session was not only efficient but also filled with joy and innocent smiles.

The results of this check-up are more than just numbers on a medical record; they serve as a scientific database for the school to closely monitor each student’s development. This information allows the school and parents to promptly coordinate on nutrition, daily habits, and the balance between physical activity and rest – both at school and at home.
