Ms. Chu Luu Phuong, the Principal of Ba Thien Kindergarten, states that the school was established and began operations in 2013. With over ten years of dedication to children, from the very beginning, the school has aimed to create a happy kindergarten environment, focusing on a friendly and modern educational setting that helps children achieve a foundation of intellectual health, promotes their dynamism, and enhances their ability to integrate into the community. Ms. Chu Luu Phuong shares: “At Ba Thien Kindergarten, we have 17 classes for children ranging from six months old to five years old. It can be said that Ba Thien Kindergarten provides the best conditions for children to be cared for and educated in a lush environment, filled with love and a spirit of education from our team of staff and teachers.”

Just finished visiting Bud classes after their swimming session at the school’s pool, the teachers are helping the children dry their hair and change into warm clothes. Ms. Chu Luu Phuong informs that having a heated swimming pool that meets standards for preschoolers is one of the school’s distinctive features. In addition to a spacious playground equipped with standard apparatus and toys, the school has also invested in building a swimming pool for the children. This facility introduces the kids to water, teaches them to swim, enhances their health, and builds their confidence in water, so by the time they are of age, they will naturally know how to swim. The swimming instructors are also certified teachers specialized in swimming instruction.

Ms. Chu Luu Phuong is very proud, stating that the school’s curriculum is very modern and well-suited for the children. The school builds on the foundation of the current preschool education program, which includes basic content appropriate for young children, while also integrating advanced teaching methods. These include the Montessori method, which focuses on personal skills; Reggio Emilia, known for its emphasis on exploration; Glenn Doman, which specializes in language development; and notably, the school incorporates the STEAM approach, which is centered on creativity and group activities.

In addition to regular class sessions, Ba Thien Kindergarten also offers special classes for children with unique needs. The school has specialized teachers who coach children on becoming MCs, show hosts, and on how to express their personalities and public speaking skills, and lead groups effectively. For children who are slightly delayed in language development, the school provides specialized teachers to guide and support them in overcoming these challenges. Therefore, children at Ba Thien Kindergarten receive a modern, diverse, and specially tailored education, all within a caring and familial environment.

To achieve the best educational environment for children, Ms. Chu Luu Phuong asserts that, besides the facilities, the most crucial factor is the quality of the school’s teaching staff. Ms. Chu Luu Phuong notes that Ba Thien Kindergarten employs a total of 48 staff members, including 30 teachers and two management officials, with the remainder being administrative and kitchen staff. From the outset, the teachers are educated and trained at specialized colleges and universities for early childhood education. After joining the school, opportunities are frequently provided for teachers to enhance their skills and innovate professionally. The school continuously facilitates learning and professional development for the teachers, exposing them to new educational skills. Regular training sessions are organized, along with specialized workshops on child care and education, and enthusiastic participation in initiatives organized by the Education Department. Continuous training is a highlight at Ba Thien Kindergarten. Ms. Chu Luu Phuong is particularly proud that many teachers in the school have achieved master’s degrees. For Ba Thien Kindergarten, improving the quality of educators and staff is essential to ensuring the highest standards of teaching and child care.

Income is also a very important issue, helping teachers feel secure and stable in their roles. “For the workers and teachers at Ba Thien Kindergarten, the income policies are very good, and everyone can feel secure in their commitment to caring for the children,” shares Ms. Hoang Thi Anh Nguyet, the Chairwoman of the School’s Trade Union. Ms. Anh Nguyet states that the average salary for the staff ranges from 8.5 to 9.5 million dong per month. In addition, the school strictly implements other benefits such as health insurance, social insurance, housing allowance, transportation allowance, bonuses, and a 13th-month salary. With fair treatment, opportunities for professional development, and a friendly working environment centered on the students, Ba Thien Kindergarten, a lush green school in the mountain town of B’ Lao, strives daily to become a warm second home for the children.
