EARLY SPRING ACTIVITIES AT BA THIEN KINDERGARTEN: EMBRACING THE PROMISING AND POTENTIAL-FILLED YEAR 2024

The Spring of 2024, the Year of the Snake, has passed, leaving a lingering sentiment in the hearts of all respected parents and students. The first two months have left unforgettable marks with a series of extracurricular activities at Ba Thien Kindergarten. These activities not only provide knowledge and skills to the children but also enrich the spirit and traditional culture of the nation.

Highlighted spring-themed extracurricular activities include:

1. Outdoor English Activities Themed “Vietnamese Tet”

The kindergarten organizes monthly English extracurricular activities, each with a unique theme. January, being a special month filled with the festive atmosphere of the Lunar New Year, makes the theme “Vietnamese Tet” even more prominent at Ba Thien Kindergarten. What could be more interesting and beneficial than an English activity centered around the traditional Vietnamese Tet? It’s not only an opportunity for our little angels to explore the vibrant beauty of Vietnamese New Year but also a chance for them to learn, express, and enhance their English skills through various games, interactive activities, and exchanges with native English-speaking teachers.

 3. Spring Festival “Exploring Traditional New Year of Asian Countries”

Ba Thien Kindergarten is thrilled to share the resounding success of the “Exploring Traditional New Year of Asian Countries” Spring Festival held on January 2, 2024. This major early-year festival brought a festive, culturally rich, and colorful atmosphere, marking a fulfilling new year for all respected parents, adorable children, and the entire staff. The children from different age groups created a unique Tet atmosphere with traditional stalls from Vietnam, China, Korea, and Thailand. Each stall, a unique creation of each group, showcased hand-made food, drinks, and crafts reflecting each country’s theme. These stalls were not just for display but also for experiencing and learning about the diverse Tet culture. The children shone in traditional costumes, displaying cultural beauty through each country’s distinctive New Year attire. This event was not only a platform for children to confidently express themselves but also helped parents appreciate and love traditional cultures. Additionally, it was a precious opportunity for parents to take New Year photos with their children, creating an incredibly lively atmosphere at the school, filled with laughter and joy.

Accompanying the fashion show were performances of singing and dancing about the New Year, with costumes and styles from each Asian country represented, as well as traditional Vietnamese dance and song. The cultural fusion of traditional New Year was conveyed through these unique cultural performances, making this year’s Spring Festival at Ba Thien Kindergarten extraordinarily unique.

4. End-of-Year Charity Activity at Ba Thien Kindergarten

Under the theme “Sharing Love,” our little representatives gifted presents to 150 children at Dai Nghich Kindergarten. Additionally, parent representatives of our school donated 20 cash gifts to the needy families of this kindergarten in Loc Chau commune. This activity not only brought joy and warmth but also educated our children about the values of love, compassion, and community sharing.

As the Tet holiday came and went, it brought with it a wealth of hope and optimism for a new year filled with potential and challenges. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all parents and students who have journeyed with Ba Thien Kindergarten throughout the 2023 academic year. Your support and trust have been invaluable, inspiring us to continually improve and develop an ideal playing and learning environment for our future preschoolers.
